Disaster preparedness is a shared responsibility for all community members, including Trilogy residents. The Trilogy Emergency Readiness Team consists of dedicated neighbors focused on helping the community properly prepare for potential natural disasters our region faces like wildfires, earthquakes, storms and volcanic events.
Some Trilogy neighborhoods have highly organized block captains, communication systems, and response teams ready to provide damage assessments, first aid assistance and more. Other neighborhoods take a more informal yet equally committed approach to maintaining up-to-date resident databases detailing those able to offer generators, first aid, search and rescue support and other vital disaster response capabilities.
Regardless of your specific Trilogy neighborhood’s approach, each resident’s safety during a disaster where emergency services are delayed or unavailable depends greatly on advanced personal preparation. Residents may need to survive independently for up to two weeks until assistance can reach the community. We encourage all residents to prepare emergency supplies like food, water and other necessities to last at least that long.
Basic utilities and services like electricity, gas, water, sewage, internet and cell phone coverage could be disrupted for an extended period. Residents may need to evacuate immediately with little notice, bringing only the most essential items. Shopping for or searching out supplies will likely not be possible post-disaster.
The Trilogy Emergency Readiness Team offers disaster readiness and preparedness training, CPR certification, and maintains a roster of experienced volunteers ready to assist neighbors during catastrophic events. We aim to help all Trilogy residents properly prepare and build resilience to safely endure disasters when they strike.
